European Event Toilet Hire | Shaw Toilet Hire’s European Coverage

Shaw Toilet Hire Heads to Belgium

Shaw Toilet Hire recently headed across the Channel to Belgium, supplying one of our luxury 4+2 toilet trailers for a sporting event.

We regularly travel across the UK supporting events of all sizes, but this job took us a little further from home and gave us the opportunity to take our event hire service into Europe.

The trailer travelled from our base in Huddersfield to Belgium, where our team delivered, positioned and set up the unit ready for the event.

What We Supplied

For the event, we supplied:

• 1 x Luxury 4+2 Toilet Trailer
• Delivery from Huddersfield to Belgium
• Installation and set-up on site
• Collection following the event
• Return transport back to the UK

Our 4+2 trailer is a popular choice for larger events, providing separate male and female facilities within one unit.

The ladies’ side has four toilets and two wash stations, while the gents’ side has two toilets, three urinals and a wash station.

Getting the Trailer to Belgium

Taking one of our trailers into Europe involves a bit more planning than a normal UK delivery.

Alongside arranging the transport, we had to make sure the correct paperwork and customs arrangements were in place to temporarily take the trailer out of the UK and bring it back again after the event.

Once everything was arranged, the trailer made the journey across to Belgium and was delivered directly to the event site.

Our team then positioned and set up the unit ready for use.

Supporting a Sporting Event Overseas

The 4+2 provided the event with a high-capacity toilet facility while offering a step up from standard portable toilets.

It’s a versatile trailer that we use at everything from sporting events and festivals to corporate events and large outdoor shows.

For this job, it also proved that our trailers aren’t limited to events in the UK.

With the right planning in place, we’re able to take our equipment further afield and support customers with events across Europe.

Back to Huddersfield

Once the event had finished, the trailer was collected and transported back from Belgium to our Huddersfield depot.

From arranging the paperwork and transport through to delivery, set-up and collection, the job was handled by the Shaw Toilet Hire team from start to finish.

This was a great opportunity for us to take Shaw Toilet Hire international and another example of just how far our event fleet can travel.
