The Piece Hall is one of the UK’s most iconic heritage venues. Originally opened in 1779 as a cloth trading hall, it is now a beautifully restored Grade I listed building and a unique open-air courtyard space that hosts major concerts, cultural events and festivals throughout the year.

Each summer, the venue welcomes thousands of visitors for its outdoor concert series, including the well-known TK Maxx Presents programme, which brings major artists and large audiences to Halifax.

Our Role

High Capacity Event Infrastructure Shaw Toilet Hire has supported The Piece Hall’s summer events programme for multiple years and is proud to be returning for a third season, delivering reliable and scalable portable toilet hire for large outdoor events. Ongoing Event Support With a busy programme of events across the summer, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality is essential. Shaw Toilet Hire delivered a full servicing schedule, completing 40+ service visits throughout the event season, including:
Waste removal and tank emptying
Deep cleaning and sanitation
Restocking of consumables
Regular inspections to ensure reliability
This proactive approach ensured all facilities remained clean, operational and ready for each event.
